The "O" Chair

Chair in use
I designed this chair from scratch for my final project in ME 203: Design and Manufacturing. I aspired to create a piece of furniture that was as fun and whimsical as it was practical and comfortable. I machined all parts of the frame from straight steel tubing, and welded the pieces together using oxy and TIG methods. I also used Solidworks to develop a rendering of the frame, which guided me through its development.
